Something caught my eye on the summary of the first book, Allied and German Soldiers Normandy 1944: it's where it's written, "... American and British soldiers of course, but also Canadian, Polish, Belgian and French troops were to challenge those from the German Wehrmacht and SS, together with Russians donning the German uniform. ...". Did I get it right: Russians fighting alongside Germans?!? :idonno Does anyone know what this is about? Perhaps Ukranian troops?

Yes there where Russian troops who joined the German army. There was a whole regiment of Cossacks who fought for Germany against Russia.
