Re-starting….JS-2

So I got part way on this in either 2016-2017 and for some reason just…..stopped.

This is the Tamiya offering, along with the Voyager PE fenders and a metal barrel. I painted it using the Ammo 4BO modulation set. I even bought a set of Fruil tracks!

Sorry aboot forgetting to get pics before I did some weathering using artists oils. Still a ways to go …enjoy!

Getting there! Last Cavalry mis-shipped my item so waiting on that in order to continue. Colors are garish rite now but should calm down with a bit more weathering

Ok so getting pretty far along, time for the base!

A little time and some plastic sheet (card as you blokes across the pond call it) came up with this. Note that to make it easier for the Clay-Shay to adhere I sanded the area inside the border and drilled some holes (per the suggestion of E.Rains)

I wanted this to be a cross of sorts, having the look of a monument yet show the tank as it would be in the field. So I primered it gray and then hit with some of that Rustoleum textured paint

And here after a TON of work, we have the finished item! I was going for depth & detail here, so there is much to see, from the ditching log & fuel drum leak (idea courtesy Mike Trent) and the rope to hold it (idea courtesy Eric Rains), to the broken cable bent fenders and all the rest

Best part is, now done it stacks with my other projects!
