Amazing how small a vehicle can be for Radio control these days. I thought a modern MBT in 1/35 scale was pretty small to be radio controlled. Then I see that you can rc a 1/35 scale M-113 APC and have engine sounds too. Wow!

This could be a lot of fun to run.

Cheers from Peter

They had several kits that were motorized so going the next step shouldn't be too hard would it?

With the miniaturization of components, the sky's the limit these days. I've seen flying RC models in 1/72. :S
Just messing around with stuff here, I've put retracts, flaps and lights in a Corsair and Trojan that have a wingspan under 15", which I guess is around 1/32. And that's with cheap, off the shelf components. You can add a sound system to that that has wheel sqeek on touchdown, MG firing (sound and flash), bomb dropping, etc.

Some of these armor guys have been incorporating servos that dip the suspension at the beginning and ending of movement to simulate weight. It's really incredible what they do. Barrel stabilization, etc, it's just a matter of programming.

I'd love to get recoil, elevation and turret rotation in a 1/72 Tiger. Hmmm, maybe a 1/35 Pz I. Fruils would work great I think.
