Question #2 : rigging wire

wds

Active member
I did a search, but was unsuccessful.

I'm looking for a link or a thread posted in the airplane section about a product used for WWI aircraft rigging. it is a stretchy string product that retains it's elasticity. You use CA to attach it.
James? Terry? It was one of you guys I think.

Thanks,

Bill

EZ Line is one of the elastic rigging materials. It is sold by Wingnut Wings and Berkshire Junction. There is also Uschi van der Rosten Products elastic rigging available from Last Cavalry and Sprue Brothers in the US or direct from Europe.

Cheers,
Rich

EZ Line, can get it from the good folks at Wingnut Wings or mailorder through their homepage,
http://www.berkshirejunction.com/

Easiest way is from Wingnut Wing

I've used both, like the EZLine better because it's more forgiving, using fishing line, I'd get tension on one line and then get the next one and the previous would go slack. EZLine is elastic and gives and takes much more.

Thanks Terry.
Thanks Rich.
Thanks Bob.

I think EZ line is the one I was thinking of. You guys rock. (y)

Cheers,

Bill

:soldier airplanes. :soldier ships :soldier guys pulling on rope.

Beat me to the punch. You can also look in the sowing section for elastic thread. I sued that before I found EZ line.
James

Thanks James! (y)
I think that I will try to source it that way locally first.

Cheers,

Bill
