Prepping Eduard photo etch for paint

Hey guys. I'm working on an Eduard Albatross D.III and I'm using Eduard's pe set for the kit. I know to give brass pe a vinegar bath, but do you need to with the stainless?

Kenny, it is not stainless. It is a nickel plating. Any primer will do.

Echo what Saul said, I don't think I have ever treated Ed's PE other than score it up trying to make it stick together better.

A self etching auto primer works well. Just a light coat will do it and then spray the rest of your model with your regular primer.
