Prepping Dragon DS tracks for painting

The title just about says it all...I am at the stage where I need to add the tracks to my M7 and wanted to make sure paint didnt flake off as I was getting ready to fit them on...

I painted the DS tracks for my 1/72 Panther G with Tamiya paints after a quick soap and water wash of the parts. The DS tracks glued together very easily too. Good luck!

I remember back when Dragon frist issued the DS tracks and they were all the talk on the model forums.
The main topic was getting paint to stick and what worked best.

More than one person suggested the use of Auto primer after a good soap and water scrub down.
So when I built my M7 I got a rattle can of it and then painted them with Tamiya paint. I've had these off and on several times and the paint is holding just fine.
