Photo Review: Dragon's Bergepanzer 38 with FlaK

Lots of leftovers on these new kits!

Above and below are both sides of the ancient sprue tree A. The empty space is where the old upper hull was.

Above and below is new sprue Tree E with Bergepanzer 38 specific parts. Note the recessed area to cut out for the other model with SiG-33 and the shallow radio pit.

Hurrah! New wheels but the extras are simply wrong!

Close up on the wheel with limited fasteners. This occurred when new wheels (which are made of armor steel) were available so the PzKpfw 38 (t) wheels were no longer needed. The flange with the fasteners was therefore narrower.

Barely any decals and a dedicated PE fret.

The next sprues form from various releases of Dragon's FlaK 38 gun.

Note the KwK 38 barrel is there too.

Above and below, a sprue from the Flakpanzer 38...

These come from the Pz.Kpfw. 38 (t) Ausf G kit. Nice engine is left over...

Wait, in this photo we see a 12 hole idler and the towing beams stowed on the side. Huh? Neither are in the kit?

Well, maybe I will forgo the FlaK 38 and make is a 3cm gun!

or a French one with 30 Cal up front!

Great, the kit offers late rear plate, idlers & exhausts when the real one was a build on an early vehicle!
