I'm going to guess it is to make a folding gun butt something like as seen on these

peoples, don't just look at the pictures but click on 'read more', then you learn that this is ONE kit and that the second photo shows the backside of the box with the instruction on how to use the jig for making the folding stock included in the kit ...
 
That's some fantastic sculpting!
The MAT-49 is a cool looking SMG,think there are not so many around in modelform.
Italeri had ones a kit with these included.

I'm glad to see Bravo 6 releasing figures for this very much neglected battle and period of history. I would love to also see Korean War figure sets.
