....shhhhh!!!!! .... secret! :silly:

Firstly even with the dust you can still see colour differences in the grey so in my opinion its jsut right :)

The new pair are very good :)

I really love your colour modulation

Can you, when youve finished of course, do a quick SBS ?

Cheers

Andy

Shawngehling.... thanks!

Massimo, both are 1/35 kits. In fact, the Jeep will be inside the LVT.

Andy, color modulation? :cheer: ... actually I do nor know how to call my way of painting as, for example, I do not gradually change the color of the same panel (hatches, lateral or frontal plates...so on) or make aggresive/not agressive color changes as other modellers do with wheels, hatches, schurzen, fenders, turrets, basket bins.... I love color modulation, of course, as I really love Wilder´s Panther F (or Panther II)?, the kit that really changed my mind as I was lucky to see it in person. It was a shock for me!

The problem is that concepts are still not clear (for me the first! :silly: ) as color modulation sometimes is confused with zenithal light or other new techniques. It´s a confusing moment on modelling these days.

I just try to change the color depending on the position of the plate, the material and the texture to get an attractive color finish. In final steps, I try to reduce the differences to the limit. Actually my LVT is too strident (bow mg mount seems anything but a mg mount ... may be a pistachio icecream!) but it´s necessary this base color to make this technique (I call it oficially "tutti frutti" ), just to be barely appreciated for the observer in later steps ... but the clue is that this differences should be delicate and subtle for the human eye perceives them as natural. The problem occurs when the eye does not perceive these changes in a natural and harmonious way... In my opinion, that´s the problem with many kits painted with "modulation style".

Regarding the SBS ... I see complicated because this book will be VERY SPECIAL and the editor wants to keep secret as long as possible. Maybe, closer to the release, I´ll have permission to do a little SBS here. I´m sorry! :(
