Thanks guys appreciate it !!!
No self respecting Joisey Shore build would be complete without one of deez ...........................
This kit is great Ak did a wonderful job here .
The plastic is not as hard as Tamiya and not as soft and brittle as MiniArt , ......... the baby bear rule , just right .
I'm lovin this kit but I did start the frame and engine and I am experiencing some fit issues , plus the instructions are just photos , no walkthroughs in writing .
Soft blue body with a primer passenger door and a white frankensteined from another VW side sliding door .

Heavens Eagle , thanks man but I'm good .
I actually had one of these back ib 72 .
About 10 years ago , as a restoration project build with my son , we were looking for the rarer than hens teeth 23 window VW bus
Never found one that fit my price range tho .

I had to add rhis to the Jersey Shore build , just had to .
Upon first recieving and opening the kit I was very impressed and excited to build this , but as to where I am now in the build it has become a love/hate relationship .
Engine fit and alignment to the chassis / poor .
Axles , tie rods , running gear , wheel alignment / poor .
Window glass , very very thick , not modifiable at all . Ok if used only as whole windows .
Instructions / not the greatest .
The first pic below , the instructions will have you glue part Aa5 to the frame , don't do this .
It makes it impossible to later slide the body/shell over the chassis and properly fit to part Aa5 , ........... ask me how I know .
Instead I force fit part Aa5 to the body/shell and was able to slide the body.shell onto the chassis for a better fit .
All in all it's the only 1/35th scale VW bus out there and the kit so far has some issues , ....... but doesn't out and out suck .
Check and pre fit everything , cuz you will have to make adjustments .
Oh , the surfboards were made out of basswood and the graphics are printies from the internet .

Wow! I may have used up all the complimentary words there are already. Can you show us how all these elements lay-out on the base you plan to use?

I remember an uncle having the pickup version of the VW bus (his was in blue). He was always hauling stuff to and from the dump, usually coming back with more than he dropped off.
