Some where I seem a post that Bob Letterman was a member. So I decided to check the site out.Welcome... Careful about asking for reference images to detail out a kit. I am known to go overboard.
How did you come across this site?
Regards,
No, never heard of Swanny'sWe seem to have had an influx of new modelers recently. I don't know what Swanny's was. (This is my only social media platform)
Were you a member there? I wonder why Swanny's website closed up.
Really nice work, I really like the D-7. I've used lathes for years without becoming an expert, just good enough to get the job done. I really have a hard time when the diameter gets real small, just can't keep the work from rolling up over the tool. I hate that!
I'm from Rhode Island and was a machinist for about 30 years before retirement.
I'm in Narragansett.Welcome!
Whereabouts in RI? I'm right over the line near East Providence in Rehoboth MA.
