Earlier this week this logo appeared on the Takom page without any explaination:

Yesterday, three new kits were announced. First is the Ho 229, the single seat A and the dual seat night fighter B, in 1/32 scale.

No mention of a release date yet.

This closely resembles the 1/32 Zoukei Mura kit. I admire and respect Japanese model makers. I won't spend my $$ on Chinese copies. :bat
Good lookin out all the same Rich!

I agree Chris that this kit looks like the ZW kit though I noticed some "corrections and improvements". One in particular is that the nose wheel fender on the ZM kit WILL NOT WORK! It is too wide to fit through the folding frame when retracted. Looks like Takom fixed this. Also the ZM pressure suit pilot figures have a clear helmet. The ZM pilot was a solid resin helmet.
I also know that ZM did an add on kit to make a 2 seat Horton that had a few additional parts.
I guess that I am a little more pragmatic on the Chinese made issue. Takom has been doing some fab work for a number of other companies and might be doing stuff for AM as well. If they are doing the quality at a decent price and not screwing over a business partner I have little problem with them. If they do crap like Trumpeter, will probably pass.
But then I am getting more choosy about any kits I buy these days, so might not matter at all.
