New guy

Well, I got a lead on someone that may be able to model the SimonLake for me. It's going to be a few dollars, but I believe it will be a good model. I've seen some of the previous work the individual has done. Will update as things progress.

I could get you started in 123d. You would need to join Discord and we do walk through builds (like once a week meet). We start with a picture you've found of your part. Grab some calipers, guess some measurements, and throw something at the wall to see if it sticks.
I've downloiaded 123D and had a quick look. As for discord, its a weird place from my few forays into other discord accounts. I'm not sure I can spend the time at the moment as I'm going through a bunch of stuff with VA and rehab and so have wall to wall appointments it feels like. I'll try and explore it a little and know who to ask questions of. I have been trying to learn Free Cad and have made some things for work and models with Tinkercad, but I find it clunky. I'm amazed at some of the things I have seen from Tinkercad though.

Oh yes! I'm in process of getting an Anycubic M7 pro
I'm sold on Elegoo printers. Currently I have 2 Saturn 4 Ultra 16K printers and they are awesome. I also use Siryatech Navy Grey ABD like resin and it has been a dream to use. Looking forward to seeing your prints.

Yes 123d, TinkerCAD, FreeCAD are clunky, Fusion has issues too. If I can help later on, just ping.

Welcome to the madnesss BM. I build pretty much everything, but I particularly love 3D modeling and have been using Blender for a couple of years. So far, I have done nothing organic like making a person, but I can make cars, motors, tires, trailers, etc. I currently am running one Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra and two Saturn 4 Ultra 16K. The 4 far outstrips the 3 in ease of use, resolution, clean models, and fewer fails, but cannot do as tall of a model by an inch, so there are uses for the 3 still. I am looking forward to your model builds!
