New Ammo of Mig SBS

Ammo of Mig is having a special sale this weekend to celebrate Russian VE day. As part of this they have a new SBS on painting and weathering an Egyptian M-109 here. Its a PDF file. Looks great and would be good for any model. I'm not quite sure why they would use and Egyptian version of an American SPG to celebrate Russian VE day though. No matter, take a look and enjoy.

Mig's really been putting it out lately hasn't he? I saw where he also has the start of an Encyclopedia of Modeling. anyone seen it yet?

I have seen a post a while back by Mig, saying Egyptian /Israeli was something he really enjoyed doing, that might explain it.
Either way, he is an awesome talent :notworthy

I have volume one of the Modeling Aircraft series. Quite good photography. If you have any other books on modeling aircraft then you've seen whats in this book. So far nothing new. I would highly recommend it for someone new to modeling except for the price. Last Cavalry has the books for $39.00 each. So in the end you will pay $195.00US or $235.56 Cdn plus shipping. You could buy a few books from Auriga Press also from Last Cavalry for way less and have more info. Manual 4 is the absolute best book and my personal favorite while manual 8 was the worst for me.
So overall I would rate the Ammo of Mig series low on the must get scale because of price and because they spread the subject over 5 books when they could have done it in 1 and charged what everyone else does. I know I personally will not buy any more of the series.

PS click the links to see the books.
