Hopefully it won't take that long to come to market here in the U.S.Just my luck! Only took them 13 years!

Looks interesting. Which version is this?Gary S.@Paulw, this was in reference to what usually happens to my projects when heavy conversions are made for an accurate kit, such as my Airfix Spitfire Mk Vb to Vc. Eduard released the Vc. 13 years ago, I started the A-20 Havos (four but I only posted two builds). One of the builds is an A-20B, so this kit may make my older kit irrelevant if I get the KH models release.
Other than it is from the 47th BG, I don't have much else.

An A-20B from the 47th Bomb Group. The painted over canopy indicates it might be a gunship with more 50 cals added to the nose.Looks interesting. Which version is this?Gary S.
That is a VERY nice A-26 Invader with the six gun nose. I only have one kit with the Meteor Productions 8 gun nose for this scheme:
The M2 .30 cal guns were added to the nacelles on the DB-7A/Havoc II to cover the dead zone behind the tail. They could be adjusted on the ground between -1 degree to +2 degrees vertically and from parallel to 100 yards convergence aft of the tail. The gunner could fire them using a foot pedal when using the upper gun position or a hand switch when using the lower position. During testing they were found to be of little value and were rarely installed. The installation was deleted on the A-20C/Boston III/Boston IIIA.Rear firing guns? Unaimed?
Most people are unaware that early Havocs (which include the first 250 A-20G-1 models) had a control stick, throttle, and rudder pedals in the rear. The firing button for these was on one of the steps in the gunner's well.Rear firing guns? Unaimed?
These F-10s were based in Puerto Rico, what do you expect? Even the names tell you, Pistol Packin' Mama, ¿Que Pasa, Babee?I gotta feeling eyeballs were not these guys first choice for "nose" art.
