Naval Aviation Museum NAS Pensacola Florida 2016

Ok, inquiring mind want to know what has a radial engine and twin float ? ? ?

Man, have not seen a T-39 since my time at the Stein . Have not missed them either... :facepalm

Good pix including the monsoon ones . Good memories :good:

Cheers, Christian B)

It is my opinion that the partial airframe by the floats is an A-1H Skyraider, as the engine has 3 rows of cylinders. Probable R-4360. I believe the floats are unrealted to the Skyraider. DeHavilland Otter, perhaps. They aren't big enough to be edo floats for a XC-47C, and have no gear wells.

Adventure is out there!!

No Skyraider float and too small for C-47 . They sort of have that Japanese outline to them but hard to tell from here.
Can't believe you only had one question to ask and ..... :rotf Didn't happen .

Saber liner was a pain in the backside to work on . None of us had any training on them but we always had to figure it out in the middle of the night . :facepalm Strange thing about being AR. at the Stein . Also had a C-118 and some VC-140's that got transferred there from the DC.fleet in 78.

That's not a R-4360 as those were four rows ( thus the nick name corn cob )
