My Quarantine Works in Progress...

Only got to do one online build session this week due to our new teachers contract being hashed out and voted on well into Wednesday evening...started playing around with the scene for my Tiger Werke base...waiting on a street clock and cart for the sidewalk...but this is what I'm thinking for some figures...

Also worked more on the panel for the Dunkirk Spitfire I'm building for my daughter...lots of sink marks in this ole Revell kit...not show worthy by any means but she's excited about it...

Was able to make both nights this week but most of my time was spent painting cobblestones on the base I am reviewing...trying to decide on which wash to use...the lighter one is a dust...the one at the other end is a dark and the one in the middle is a streaking grime....blends the many different Stark colors together better...

I also added the helmet to the head ofy figure and tried my hand at starting a patina on the bronze base...

Good progress. On the road go dark first, let it completely set and then add the lighter one.

Something positive about the quarantine.Really nice work on the truck and arty. The Batman looks great too!! I like the cobblestone also. Glad to see your daughter is interested in WW II. When in school they just fill their heads with mush. I bought the Dunkirk DVD and was really disappointed except for the Spitfire scenes. It was too hard to follow the story line. Have her watch "The Battle of Britton" movie. Or even "Pearl Harbor '. Ok, I liked it especially the music. I have the CD sound track in my car almost always. Kinda says something to my soul. Gary S. I went to see Midway, I take issue with how some of the characters are portrayed but all in all it was a great movie. 1917 was awesome! I agree Chris, Dunkirk was nearly unwatchable the way they had the story lines all chopped up.

The quarantine builds this week have been a little discombobulated....hard time paying attention to any one specific thing. Pics of the Takom Jeep will have to wait until the wheels set...but fearless leader Bob joined our tri-state area Meet group tonight!

Trying to create a tarnished look to the bronze base on my Belleau Wood bust...

And my Revell Spitfire for my daughter is possibly going to be more putty than plastic...
