My Quarantine Works in Progress...

Closest thing I could find to an Individual Builds section ;) So I've been active in two local-ish groups during this time with Google Hangouts...one with my friends from Vermont and upstate NY that has grown and includes our very own Dr. John...and another with my Albany AMPS group...so here is where I'll post my progress with these online sessions...

First is the ICM FWD Type B WWI truck...I've used some Value Gear crates with custom decals...

I've also finished the Takom 1/16 Chinese Army Type 94 Tankette...

And if I take nothing else out of this quarantine, I have this. My daughter just turned 17 and has been talking with some like aged girls from England and Scotland who have gotten her into the movie Dunkirk. Enough so that she's grown to love the Spitfire and asking me questions about WWII. I've taken the initiative (like I need a reason to buy a new model) and ordered the Revell 1/32 Spitfire Mk I...she's excited for me to build it in the Dunkirk scheme....got it yesterday and started in on the engine and seat...and really rough looking radio...

Guess that's it for now...

‘Na na na na na na na na, Na na na na na na na na Batman

Batman, Batman’

Cool work on the FWD too!

Thanks everyone!

Bob- this kit doesn't come with the turbine engine...guess that is just the deluxe metal box kit.

Great progress. I hope to post some of mine lately too. I'm so lost though on what I have to post since it's been so long.

Awesome progress Mike, and I'm thrilled to hear your daughter is open to learning about WWII.

Another week of Google Hangout group building sessions done....

Test fitting an ICM driver in the FWD...

Excellent eclectic collection of projects man! Nice! I have one of those batmobiles myself; maybe someday I'll get it going. The truck and morser look magnificent and the Batman looks to be a fairly easy fix. You got this man!

Thanks Bob and Mark for your comments-- it's been nice to be able to meet with friends from farther away that I wouldn't normally be able to meet with.
