My mix of Tunisian spices went bad in a big way.

Germans!

Thanks guys.

I have to retake the side shots, because of the glass distortion and small size, all the shots I got were funky looking.

It's 1/285 and there's an amazing amount of detail on them. I guess white metal casting allows for tiny pieces. I dug them out for the Micro Modeler campaign, but there wasn't much assembly to them, just the turret on the Tiger and the canvas on the FAMO.

Shoot Jeff, you should have done it for the campaign, the composition would have been ribbon worthy.

Thanks guys.

These were leftovers from years ago. I did my take on a ship in a bottle, it was a dio of two FAMOs pulling a disabled Tiger. It worked out great except one thing, I used Durhams Rock Hard Putty for the base inside the bottle and I guess it doesn't chemically bond like plaster. It keep giving off moisture well after it was dry and turned moldy in a few weeks so I had to toss it.

Bob, I have a Tamiya Bell X-1 I'm going to try to build this weekend, that'll fit into the campaign.

If you guys get a chance, these tanks are from a company called GHQ. They're for war-games, but the detail rivals most 1/72 (they are 1/285) and the selection is better than most 1/35 companies. Thy have ships, AC, armor and the most obscure stuff you'll ever see. Prices are great too, about $8 for 5 units.

LOL! :rotf

I knew those were Micro Armor in that old "One A Day" bottle.

I should dig out some of the old stuff I have put up. WWII German in ambush scheme.

Very cool concept,looks great !!! (y)

But aren't the tow cables on backwards for a Tunisian Tiger ? :facepalm

I'm SOOO glad, it isn't just me!! :facepalm :rotf Well done! Is there a Bedford Truck and a 25-pounder in your shallot salt?

I agree! When this build campaign had a less politically correct name (ahem...) I built a pair of 1/144 or maybe smaller tanks a panther and a Nashorn, and there was little 'build' to them but they were fun just the same!'

Now if you had some figures in 1/285...........................

So youse-guys are in Wa. State? I have a sister on the other side of the state in Richland
