My Kid published his first scientific paper!

My son, who is working away on PhD in Marine Science, Passed a milestone in his career, co-publishing his first paper! It's in Frontiers in Marine Science, and it involves the idea of estimating carbon export to the deep ocean using high tech cameras:

Cool! I saw in another thread that your kid is going into naval engineering?? When Christian said he was going into Marine Science I reminded him that it wasn’t about looking at girls in bikinis, & he just blushed, so remind your kid it’s not “Navel” Engineering.....
 
Congratulations. Well done Job and very well written paper.

In this world of "publish or perish" your son already is up to a good start. Please convey him my congratulations on surviving graduate School.
