Hi there.
Sometimes I like to listen to music whilst I am building a model or constructing a diorama. I find that I'll listen to different genres of music when working on different genres of models. Some examples.
When I'm working on my 1/35 scale Italeri M-109 IDF Roher, or any of the other self-propelled artillery pieces I'm building as IDF weapons, I like to listen to "THE BALLAD OF PALADIN" aka "HAVE GUN, WILL TRAVEL" both instrumental and vocal.
instrumental: Duanne Eddy (guitar) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSagjIc3slk&feature=related
Vocal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgvxu8QY01s
When working on some of my other IDF vehicles I like to listen to some Hebrew songs. One of those songs is "THE THEME FROM EXODUS" (instrumental Roger Williams piano) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKBJcnPjoh0
or as a vocal "THIS LAND IS MINE" (Andy Williams vocal)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEYmomUuveU
and "OD YAVO SHALOM ALEINU" ("PEACE WILL COME UPON US").

If building a derivative of a Sherman gun-tank there is always "BURNING BRIDGES" from 'Kelly's Heroes'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCjWQHpu3bY
Whenever I'm working on a North African Desert L.R.D.G. truck or S.A.S. jeep I love to listen to Ravel's "BOLERO" because the rhythm reminds me so much of the swaying ride of a camel or dromedary on the desert sands. I find that music exceptionally relaxing.

U.S. PT boat models rate "PT-109" by Jimmy Dean.

There are lots of great songs to listen to while working on aircraft models.
Do any of the rest of you listen to such music when you are building models?
Cheers from Peter
