Mummy FINISHED!!!

Its finished, this model was built from the old Aurora movie monster kit.
A very long time ago I built this same kit but that was back in the mid to late 1960's so I can't remember too much about it though since I did not care much about filling seam lines in those days but I do now and the seam lines were difficult to correct on this model without destroying the surface detail of the wrappings on the Mummy but the hard work was worth the effort put into it.
The model has yet to get its final clear flat coat so that's why the base looks a bit glossy in the pics below. Next time I have my airbrush loaded with flat clear Mummy's base will get a coat.

I have no more figure kits in the stash but when I am able to purchase one I want to try a nude female figure, should be fun to paint with the airbrush and the research on the subject should be delightful. B)

These movie monster kits are great fun and I am sure you will have a great time with your kit.
What I found so refreshing when building my two movie monster kits was there was no RLM colors to be concerned about when painting them, I was left to my own devices. :laugh:
Even trying to gather information on the Cobra was a hoot because I found they have a wide variety of markings on them so there is a lot of room to work with as far as colors go.

Old kits often mean low standards in the quality of the molds but this Mummy kit is not one of them. But I have to admit the seam lines were a real chore to make right.
