Hey Terry!

After watching your build last time and learning a few things about modeling armor,
I look forward to seeing what you do with this one.

Cheers,
James

Thanks James!! Trying to get some supplies rounded up so I can get started. First order of business is to fill the motor holes in the bottom hull. Next will be lowering the tank as the Tamiya kit sets too high. Fun fun :yipee

Re: MrT'S M48A3"JUNGLE BUSTER""STARTED"

Well I'm underway filling all those motor holes. What a pain!!!! I am also getting ready for the first major conversion process. The Tamiya M-48 is about 6 to 8 scale inches too tall or about 3/16 of inch. You would think fixing this would be a problem, however all of the bumper spring are attached to the torsion arms. This means they all have to be cut off modified and then reattached. This will also be a Marine Patton, but more on that later. I also got some new stowage stuff. hehehehe. Here are some pic's. Comments and questions welcome.

Here I have added .080 plastic strip to the bottom hull which will align the torsion arms at the right distance.

More later so stay tuned.
