Hey Guys ... The Links that I posted didn't come through on Jenny's link. So, I thought you might like to see some Other German/Russian Tanks that have been recovered from the Bogs. It seems that the Peat Moss is an Excellent Preservative !

Here is a STUG IV recovered. & like I mentioned in JENNY's post look at the Red Oxide Primer. Is this the Only color that's on this STUG ? 'Cause if the paint has worn off then Surely the Balkenkruz & Turret numbers would have too ??

If you notice that T-34 is in German colors ... That means it was captured( re-painted) when it got lost in the Bogs ! Crazy Cool ! I also read a story on line about this Recovery. After it dried out They actually got it Started & running ! :woohoo: hopefully that wasn't a Tall Tale ? :S
