I've pored over pics of the Komet like those for hours when I built mine. This sample is pretty shot up but I actually came to appreciate those not-restored specimen as they reveal a lot more about the original paint than the ones who look like brand new but whose new livery, done by some museum in a rush, has no basis on fact.
