Maddog Manufacturing Goes Civil in 2013

I've had a pretty good Hobby Day weekend, despite the fact that allergies hit me full force on Saturday. I was still able to get some good progress done, including a couple models I started this weekend. This weekend I started something that allows me to post here in this Forum.

This next thing is something a bit different, especially for me. My IPMS club is doing two group builds for two collections going to the Nationals. One is P-51 Mustangs, (several of which I'm building for that) and one is for TV and Movie cars. Since I had a Monkees car in the stash, I decided that it would be a great reason to get this car built.

First I built the engine:

Then I added the exhaust pipes underneath the Chassis:

Simple work really. Next I assembled the dashboard:

And finally, I built the seats inside the interior tub:

Now to start shooting paint on this bad boy.....

Okay, that's all that I have for this week, maybe I'll start getting some of these finished soon. I have more to show in Wesendorf Field and Armored Fury, feel free to check them out as well if you wish.

Duke:

That is going to be great, the "Iron Duke"building a 1/25 scale car kit. The planets have moved out of alignment and the universe is collapsing on itself, LOLOLOLOLOL!!! Seriously man, you should be able to do great things in that "Huge" scale. Must be a welcome relief, having come off that "Karl" and "Dora" builds, this will go togetyher in a snap. Looks good so far my friend. Have fun.
