Very very cool. I have the Meng kit. Nice to see how it builds up. You should get one done with the rocket pod from the Hind to complement the aa equipped ones.

Thanks so much James for your kind comments. I have one more Pick Up from Meng that comes with another gun and equipment. Do you have real picture of one equipped with the rocket pod from the Hind? I want to see the location of the rocket pod and how it is installed.

FWIW, I just got done designing the UB-32 launcher for a guy who will eventually be casting & selling these. Its going to be in 1/35 scale.

Thanks so much Adam! That's a very quick reply. I'll see if I can find the rocket pod leftover from the Hind, I think my modeler can scratch-build the launch platform. How long is the time to market of your guy's product?

I dont have any idea when he's planning on having 'em ready. I do know he hasnt sent the parts off to be printed yet. He's going to take the files I created, and have the parts 3D printed, and use those as masters for casting.

I'll definitely post up when they become available.

All the pictures I've seen the rocket pod is on a larger frame. This one from Blast is on a pintle mount type thing. Anyone seen any pics of this arrangement? I want one, but I would rather have the frame work I've seen pics of. Thanks for the link Saul.

Chip, there were many more photos... I only posted those with rocket pods from aircraft (the conical ones are from winged ground attack aircraft while the others are carried by both rotary and winged aircraft).

Do you need to see more with ground based rocket systems?

If so, we really need to move these posts. Fortunately, I received both of Meng's pick up trucks yesterday so it is the perfect place to post them.
