Thanks Saul. I just found my Pacific War reference book (Pearl Harbor and the war in the Pacific by Nally)that has a lot of uniforms in it. They are wearing the winter uniforms in the first photo and what looks like the intermediate uniform in the second photo. The Ultracast figure is the intermediate uniform also. The only difference is the fact that he is wearing a life jacket. The flight suits were the same.


Dang it. I hate having my reference scattered all over creation. :vmad

I ordered the figure. The 77th Sentai was stationed on New Guinea so it is possible that they would have worn the life jacket. Sorry for researching more before I asked.
