Look what landed at our tiny airport!!!

I live near a small county airport. In fact one corner of my property is just off tha flight path for landing. I was working in the yard and heard an engine I’d never heard before so I pulled up the flight app that the highly esteemed Moonpuppy installed on my phone and what do I see? A P51 Mustang landing!
Grabbed my wallet, phone, and keys, and beat feet out to the airport… And there she was!

The Stearman has been at Greenwood for as long as I remember, in that scheme. Good photos on that P51, I tried to get out there when the P40 flew in.
For context, there's a guy down between Greenwood and Saluda that has https://www.warbirdadventures.com. For 1200 bucks you can fly a Texan for an hour.
He also offers overhaul services for aircraft and apparently he's become very popular with the old warbird owners community. When I went out there looking for the P40 Rick Trammel the FBO Manager told me there's all sorts of old warbirds coming in from Warbrirds Adventures to gas up. So keep your radar up, no telling what you'll see flying into KGRD.
