Well,
She is almost done and ready for the up-coming contest.
I replaced that clump of plastic (flowers) with some real
(Wild Flowers) that are really small and added a silk scarf
and based her.

Yeah I know I need work on my photography, I'm working on it... ;)
Same goes for my figure painting. :eek:hmy:
I should have the "in box" review done later this week.

Enjoy
Shawn

I should have guessed that you would build the Soviet figure first... I'm proud enough that you got THAT close to anything involving aircraft! Still think she turned out well!

Thanks Travis,
Yup, I did the Soviet Female, and the other 5 went to guys in the club
up here.
Ted, Glad you like the flowers, I thought they would look better than
the clump of plastic (which looks ok when painted, but), I thought
the real ones would look better.
I put a silk (parachute material) scarf on her, as they said she did
that and I thought it would be a nice touch.
Shawn
Thanks again for looking.

Hey there Shawn.

Nice job. Want to do another one? I can send you the one I have along with the rest of your care package. i won't be building that particular figure. Maybe you can convert it into a sitting figure.

Cheers from Peter

Sure Peter,
I'll have to start looking for her plane in 32nd scale too...
Send it whenever.
Thanks
Shawn

Thanks Andy,
Like I said, I am working on getting better at close up shots of figures.
and I only wish I could paint figures 1/2 as good as most figure painters.
(Someday, maybe???)  :eek:hmy: :blink  :)

Thanks Moon Puppy...
I thought the scarf and flowers would spice it up a bit... :hmmm
The booklet that Master Box provided with the set says that she would take
wild flowers into the cockpit with her (when they were available) and that
she took parachute material and made a scarf because the uniforms were made
for men, and she wanted to add a feminine touch, so...
The flowers that she has molded in her hand looked pretty good, but I though
that I could use real ones and make my life so much easier. ;)
Some say lazy, some say thrifty, some say much worse I'm sure. :eek:hmy:
You know me, I like a good challenge.
Shawn

I guess my son still knows me oh too well though. :pinch:
