Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

I am sure that the Ukraine soldiers flying the drones would see that and say "Hmm big missile box, TARGET!" (BOOM)
I have been archiving that war's frontline videos. I am glad @Brokeneagle hasn't asked or I would overload the servers! This is the smallest file but some videos are about 28MB! Ian, let me know if you want images and videos of the aftermath... You wouldn't have needed to buy the complete kit!
:blink

Thanks Saul but I will model it before a drone strike so there is something to build.
:)

Some additional purchases................

The Konakt bricks were at a really good price compared to the Royal Models packs.
264 bricks for $26.00 (3D printed) while Royal model has $21.00 for 56 bricks (resin and undersized)

In MHO drones are not just something that needs to be factored in. they are something that needs to be the basis of a complete rethink of the armed forces..

God my typing is getting worse :) now corrected
Sounds like you have been fighting with the Typo Monster there Paddy! It is an ongoing issue with me, but in many cases it has to do with the Corsair Gaming keyboard and the super sensitive keys that it has. I never had this much trouble with my older keyboard, but it also had keys that required a bit more pressure to work.

I use a logi mechanical, i had to much trouble with those touch type keyboards. The mechanical is a lot more expensive but it streets ahead for general use as its much more tolerant of dust and less sensitive to accidental touch. No my problem is i cant get spellcheck to work on some forms and being rather dyslexic when i read back what i typed i tend read what i want to see and not what's really there , in other words my inbuilt spellcheck in my brain is correcting it so it looks ok.
The interesting thing is if i read the same post back an hour later i can see all the mistakes as i have forgotten what i put so my brain is reading what's there and not what it expects to be there. does that make sense ?.. i do find this sort of thing fascinating :)

Dollar Tree had a small base for a $1.25USD which is perfect for a motorcycle or small twin bladed helicopter like the AH-1G in 72nd scale. While my wife looked in the garden area, I looked at Lowes clearance section and found the Gorilla Glue for $3.47USD which is over half off the regular price.

Paddy all you said makes sense; I'm dyslexic too and have a very similar issue.

Good score Saul! It's amazing the treasures one finds in places like that.

I am being taken over by the green! Andy had a 4th of July sale and the M10 had always intrigued me. The Chaffee is a new kit and the Gecko kit of the Panzer Jager II impressed me so I decided to get it for something different to push my limits.

I also tried out a tool in my program that I learned about a while back. Had always wanted a way to square up photos when they are a bit out of alignment and this tool does it fairly well. These two photos were perfect candidates to experiment with and learn.

As I am at work, I can't demonstrate what I did. Rotating, and doing parallelograms are easy. What I did was adjust the photo so that the box was more rectangular (squared up) the photos when not perfectly centered will be smaller on one side than the other. This lets me adjust it to square it up, but it is a best guess adjust, then execute and see how it turned out.

Yes thats exactly what i did thats why the picture appears cropped as the car tilts

This is a better example, imagine the lines on the paper are trees , they need to be nearer vertical :) (unless its very windy) So picture rotated left a bit

End of the day its a free down load so have a play about

I do all this and do have the Nikon app from my camera but it is the perspective (parallelogram) look which sometimes need fixing. Not for photos I took but those I find online where I want a clearer view of a marking.
