Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Hey, join the club! @jknaus can blame me for a few purchases as well!

Paul, if you're not done shopping (and want to correct the King Tiger's few soft spots, or the new Nashorn, which has a lot in common with the Hummel, don't forget that AFV Modeller has everything including detailed books.
Figured you would get a laugh.
The Nashorn looked good in trying to figure out if they messed up, but it kind of blew me away when I found the surfacing on the hull. Almost every kit has issues as they have to be engineered and molded. Some things can't be worked around due to the molding process, but some (as I have found) are just plain due to stupidity and not doing the job. As the King Tiger also has an interior they went and made spaced armor to simulate the thickness of the hull and turret parts. There is no plate surface stuff like the Nashorn has, though I didn't fully check out all the armor stuff on the Nashorn. It at least shows that "someone" was paying extra attention.

I am already thinking about how can I do a King build with it all pulled apart using a servicing yard. You just have to be able to see all the inside stuff.

Well, I was about to do some in depth review of all the functions but... Camera died! Tried to remove the battery but it had bulged, so, new PC does have an SD slot so some photos are saved. Maybe I'll try using my new Samsung phone. Supposedly its camera is good.

LOL! I have the first "block" tool and to be honest I have not had need of it. Why? Have no clue. Guess it is just one of those things that I have so many varied hand tools for doing things that I just don't even think about it. It is a nicely made tool, and has a lot of functions, but to use it, I have to have a purpose for it.
The second tool, the air filter seems nice, but again, I would have to need something like that. I have an old (magenta) towel on the secretary office chair (no arm rests) in my dedicated man cave that I wipe my files on to clear dust from them. Everything else tends to go on the porcelain flooring that is through the whole house, and I sweep it up when I drop a "very small" part and can't find it, or when "it's time".
