I also spent some big money on a new windshield for my car and a new FDM 3D printer. I moving up from what I have know since the start to a higher quality print, the X1C by Bambu Labs with an AMS (its a feeder system that holds 4 rolls of various colours or types of filament) I'll be able to print multi colour prints as well as ABS, Nylon, Graphite fibre etc. This will come in handy in the near future as my wife convinced me to get in on a crowd fund for a table top bowling alley.

James

Wow James, that thing looks industrial level.
They actually have a Personal manufacturing model that looks almost the same but is a bit larger and it also has a Laser Engraver installed. Its the H2S. mine will do me just fine though. After I left work they finally got a 3D printer, something I lobbied for for about 4 years. They got the H2S. Wish they got it while I was still there as I could have kept working and been productive doing 3D work.

Its ok, i have ordered a latest acquisition although i will be pleasantly surprised if its up to anything. I need to expand my capabilities.

From the get off your A$$ and complete the Havocs, I have @Rhino to thank! Sea-N-Sky delivered a box with the following!

I just can't get myself fired up about ordering any kits. The new Das Werk plane kit that James got in has a little interest and there is a recent ICM German biplane kit but Sprue Bros only has the Spanish Civil War markings available. Am really enjoying the 1/16th experience though am half assed stalled on the 251 engine as it has some "issues". Have the worst of those dealt with, but since I have a second kit the distributor that I had to heavily rebuild needs to be cast. I was lucky in that the old mold medium was still useable. Had to mix the crap out of the main portion for a while to get the white particulate mixed back up into the medium. Then did a small test mix to see if it would even work. Did fine so have two parts to cast. My old resin part A had gone bad so a whole lot of resin is going in the trash. Ordered some more Alumilite from Amazon and the 16oz (two 8oz containers) should be here Wednesday. Also ordered some more of the #11 xacto type blades to have in stock. 300 blades for $15 is a great deal especially as they are very sharp and have seemed to hold up quite well.

Here is a link to the blades.

My hobby lamp bit the dust the other day. The metal base broke and then lamp head broke off when it hit the desk. Luckily there was no collateral damage to things on the desk.

Found this lamp from GAME ENVY CREATIONS. They specialize in the gaming miniature genre and are based in Hagerstown, Maryland. Hobby Sense in Winnipeg carries some of their line and now have one less lamp in stock.
