Well going back to my roots and WWII German subjects. Also another IDF subject and a Brit Big Gun. The "Porsche" Turret King Tiger also has a pile of AM. Its next on the bench. I really am looking forward to getting into it.

How do those Thunder kits look James? My local hobby shop got the transporter version and trailer of the Scammell vehicles and they looked interesting, but as I don't do much British armor I passed.

They are very nice kits. I have the tank transporter and trailer now and the gun and truck. There are some improvements on the Scammells but otherwise very nice. The gun will require a bit of research but the detail is crisp from my quick check. Reading a post on FB by another modeler who has almost finished the gun, he says it is very well detailed. An a buddy of mine just posted a gun and truck used by the 59 Newfoundland Heavy Regiment. So thats what I will attempt to make.

Some interesting stuff you have there Gerry!

I was trolling on the 'bay the other day and ran across a package deal on a kit I have been wanting for a while. Finally just bit the bullet and tried for it. Wasn't as cheap as I would have liked but basically got all the extras for zip and the kit for retail.

Gerry, I'm thrilled to see you posting here again! Great scores man, I'm looking forward to seeing them started.

Great score Paul! The extras being free sure helps.

In a few days I should be able to post my acquisitions from the Nationals. Stay tuned.

As I continue getting back to WWII stuff I have started rounding out my Pz III collection. Some of the 7 PZ IIIs I've ordered have arrived. Now if I can overcome this inner ear issue I can get building them.

Stainless Steel?

Yes, protects from corrosion when used in cleaning out the applicators. Looks like plumbing and thin enough to bend easily without having to anneal it. However, one can still put it over a flame for heat effects without it burning. These are VERY thin (I only needed 0.006 inch for my Touch-n-Flow but was offered 15% discount plus free shipping if I added a second spool).

Hot off the presses its Meng's new 9K37M1 BUK. You may have read a couple of years ago of it taking out Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 in the Ukraine. This will be my second last modern weapons system I think. Just a Flap Lid to get when Trumpeter releases it later this year.
