I have some things to finish James ( as you probably know ) but I would like to build it after the Typhoon.

Not an all problem fixing for the Revell kit but if I stop looking at references I might be able to build it to my likings anyway :rotf .

This is a big improvement over the Airfix and Matchbox efforts. :D

Had these show up in the mail yesterday.

Tamiya US Army Combat Ration boxes. I had planned on using these w/ the FMTV that I've been working on, but I believe that these might be WWII era ration boxes versus modern boxes that I thought they were. Oh well, I picked them up on ebay for a really good price, got all 8 of 'em for 15 bucks w/ free shipping, and I can use them on other things I guess.

Shalom.

Master Box make some nice figures sets. I like that the poses on these are all different and not clones of each other.

Not being an armor guy, I can recognize most of those weapons, at least in general terms, but don't know what 21 and 22 are. They look good!

Shalom Moon Puppy.

21 looks like a ERMA (EMP) Submachine gun 1932.

22 looks a lot like the Russian PPSH-41 which the Germans captured a lot of and converted to 9 mm Parabellum MP-41 (r) and the unconverted ones were designated MP717(r) and supplied with 7.63x25mm Mauser ammunition (which is dimensionally identical to 7.62x25mm, but somewhat less powerful). German-language manuals for the use of captured PPShs were printed and distributed in the Wehrmacht* but it's hard to tell due to the poor image.

The figure set is very nice and there is extra arms with for making more variations, if you buy 2 sets you can have all looking different that i like! :)

I too think that 21 is a Bergman MP/submachine gun but which exact year is beyond me. Seems as though they were Bergman or ERMA.

Cheers

It's the Bergmann MP34/1 and no 22 can be built as either the german modified MP 41(r) or the unmodified russian PPsH or as the germans named it MP 717(r)

It's nice that they send with such a nice set of equipment with the figures

I traded away my original BMP so I could get this one since it is closer to the one I need:

One of the nicest schemes on the Begemot sheet I bought (since it had two shark mouth markings) was for an Indian Air force special scheme. So, I got this:

Nice scores Saul! I built a 1/72 scale D-30; it is a cool gun. I'm so glad to have some modern artillery in my collection.

Here's my latest acquisitions. This first one I picked up at my IPMS E-board meeting at Military Hobbies:

Revell_Strv_122A.jpg

I figured, I already have the Strv 103-0B and -C model S-tanks, now I need this one.

And now, since I finally have my Hobby Room back from my kitten; I got this to record all my latest progress:

LA_New_Camera.jpg

It was on sale, and I really needed one so I got it.

Now back to the workbench.....
