Yesterday a flat coat was sprayed on and because the panel lines were too shallow to accept any wash, I used a pencil and just the sticky part of a post it note as a straight edge to bring them out. Then the flaps were installed.

I read about the crews in Iwo Jima during WW2. it was boring so they had nothing to do but work in the aircraft, they kept them clean and polished. Looks good Gary!
 
I muse often, about how the close air support mission in Korea would have gone if the P-47 Thunderbolt had been the deliverer of goods.
