I recall my Testors (Fujimi) kit which (like a fool) I painted up as a Manta Ray! Simply having fun with my son. He was too young to realize it wasn't a toy.

Just love that shape. Reminds me of the old says with all those Lexington Class carriers with all the different aircraft on board. That was one shape I recall vividly.

Thanks, Alex. Lots of touch up to do on the decals. 60% broke coming off the paper, others chip so easily from the slightest touch. No more handing until I get the clear coat on over them.

Maybe just a little petroleum jelly for your ears. So you can still fit through the door.
