My friend Bob Kirby, a veteran of the cold war Silent Service, has invited us to the USS Iowa, SSN-797 Crew Meet & Greet and museum tour at Camp Dodge. He is unaware that a Transfer of Command ceremony for USS Entemedor will also be conducted at this same time.

That is something I would like to attend if I was up there reasonably close.

We are having something going on the latter part of this week in Millington which is a suburb/ military base just north/ NE of Memphis.

Supposed to have the B-29, and a B-25 there with rides available. FIFI rides are like $1500 with the B-25 rides being $400-$500. I believe there will be other aircraft there as well, so this next Saturday will be a trip to Millington. Might take Friday off and go then instead. We will see.
