OK...

I have a tamiya Hamp in deck. The call out is for XF-71 for the intro stuff.

The closest real hobby shop is 40 driving miles away and it takes almost an hour to get there... cross town, over the river and through the woods...

Does anyone know of something close? I have check the online paint charts and a couple of ones I have as .pdfs.

Worse come to worse, I can just paint it RLM02, but there are several other Japanese kits in the stash.

If I had a real hobby shop within 40 miles, I wouldn't be bitching. :coolio

Two weeks from everywhere, a geographical oddity.

You'd think with a population of 15 million people in both Carolinas, we wouldn't have to drive to Georgia to find a decent hobby shop. :smack

Canuks 3.....Murikens 0 :drinks

Nanton, where I live, population 2,200, 1 Lancaster Bomber, may not fly but it it runs on all 4 and the museum carries model kits.

High River, 15 minutes north of Nanton, population 13,500, Hobby shop, more of a gamer/slot car trian shop also carry's kits and paint.

Calgary, 1 hour north, population 1,250,000, 4 shops that I'm aware of that carry kits and paints......

Sux to be you Mike, and I do mean that in all sincerity.

I still order stuff on line......... :frantic

When I moved to Cleveland in 2000, there were three shops here and several in the surrounding cities. Two have already shut their doors and the 3rd is going to any day in Cleveland and several of the Neighboring towns have lost their stores. The internet has killed the retail model business.
