Home Sweet Home

Thanks for bumping this Barney

We've started looking for Mac's replacement. The pup will have to have the same health credentials that a K( or military dog has to have. We're still using Mac with Ian as this will be good training when he becomes a therapy dog. Mac goes everywhere with us in his "In Training" vest. Saturday he went to his first model contest. He was the biggest attraction there.

We had a thread talking about CTA2 and hinted that we already had in mind who would be the beneficiary of that fundraiser.

I'm proud to say now that CTA2 will be dedicated to the Loup Family and their new service dog! We'll be raising money to help Kenny cover the expenses for the new service dog to help Ian.

I hope everyone will pitch in and lend a hand and help get that boy a puppy! :mpup

We'll have more later on what's going on. :eek:hyeah
I am a firm believer every boy needs a new Puppy (y)

Why does everyone name their dog Barney? :idonno

I am getting confused.... which is normal... :yipee

Let me know how I can help.... I may be miles away, but I can write a check... :geek

As you all know, I have severe PTSD. Too many deployments, and working in inner city high schools... I have a dog tat more than once kept me going and brightened my day.... Service Dogs are a blessing and I will be honored to chip in... :mpup
Barney, Mac's trainer has a program called Patriot Dogs for vets with PTSD. They are usually rescues pulled from a program where detainees in the Juvenile Justice Center give them basic obedience.
