Hello from Colorado

Greetings from a snowy Watkins,CO. I picked up a load going to GA earlier today,on the west side of Denver. I am supposed to be in GA,0800 on the 6th. Looking at road conditions from here to past Kansas City on I-70,not gonna happen.

For anyone in these areas, don't drive if you have to, I have a little under 8,000 pounds in the trailer. No way am I gonna put up with snow and wind gusts. :bang head

I'm here in Goodland, blowing snow now. They say it is to last until this evening. Good news is the Fire/EMS and law enforcement radios have been quite this morning .......... do not believe that is going to last.

Stay safe

Quite so! I'ts not too bad, here on the Frosty Prairie. Snow & N/NE winds promise a serious storm.

The Accu-Hunch Weather-Guess, Brought to you by Hy-Vee, Dahls, and Fareway Food stores, sez 1/2 a foot of new snow.
We just haven't had "Real Winter" for a long time here.

Good day for Coffee & Cinnamon rolls!!
Well, pouring resin, and modeling as well!! :drinks

A few hours back,I decided to head east some. To Limon,CO. The roads were a mix of okay and crap. A west bound snow plow made life interesting. The wind from the north caught that snow, and made a total white out for a second or two. :eek:hmy:

A couple hour ago I70 around mile marker 12 there was a slide off or two. Sounds slick out that way.

The KS DOT site lists all of I-70 as snow/ice covered. As does the MO site. No idea on what my progress will be tomorrow. :(
