Harley 750 WLA but not :-)

Just thinking about doing something this complex makes my 2 brain cells hurt. Absof-kinglutely mad skills. I applaud you!

Now I'm going back to my 10 piece Hawk 1/4 scale kit and leave a finger print in the glue blob.

The WLA as i said is a military version and has cut down mudguards but it looks like they are the originals cut down and not some different style
So.............. . i just had to see if it could be put right. Bit worrying because i would probably wreck the mudguards i have trying and then i would have to buy another kit just to scavenge the mudguards !!!

Here we go then

I dont think i can match that flair on the rear of the rear... but you can see what we are aiming for when compared with the supplied front

So i used some .3mm plastic card which is more accurate to scale than the kit mudguard which is 1mm. I know Harley's are heavy but to scale that would be 9mm thick :) almost bullet proof :)

A little bit of filler and some tidying up round the edges and this might work. Really depends how it looks with paint...which sort of shows up a load or problems usually. I bought some Mr Surfacer a while back and i have never used it so wondering if this is a use for it ?
