As I wrote, Happy new year everyone!
We just came back from our XMas-NewYear tour. Something we started some years ago: rent a hut, a house, whatever, pack the complete family and celebrate a week together with eating, chatting, bulding dream castles or farmers houses for the small ones an play games. Ths time we rented a beech house in Denmark, very nice with open fire place and outside heated pool ... very nice. We also rented beech sailers and drove a beech sailing race. Of corse we had an exident and yes Grandpa (that's me) happend to break his right index fnger. But it was fun and it is something to be excited about for next year.

That does sound fun Martin. Our little clan has kind of spread out now. All my siblings have their kids and grands to deal with so my immediate family didn't really have a meet up. Cindy and I are going to start doing something more after our thanksgiving party we host. Not sure yet what that will be.

We stayed in. Teresa had to work this morning. I made a big pot of medicinal chicken & noodles, we had supper and apple pie and watched Cowboys & Aliens. Discretion is the better part of valor on "Amateur Night".

We spent the time inside today. Made Hoppin' John and stayed out of each other's way.

Stayed in with daughter and Son-in-Law. He played World of Warcraft while I played Fallout 76 and my daughter worked on a work project. Just a lazy day. Will be heading home tomorrow and am planning on some building the rest of the week for a change.
