Halls Bulldog

Is it a gloss paint Bob? I almost NEVER spray gloss paints! If I want a gloss finish, I will spray a flat paint (which almost always sprays better) then a gloss clear coat.

Gloss paints do weird things in miniature when sprayed and I hate them. I only spray gloss if it is going to be a metallic and that is so rare that the last time I did that was the 80's.

Well I over complicated things but finally got the mask right for the paint job on the cowl and the wing.

It's going to get interesting seeing how the flat black blends with the black of the decals. :blink

Like the song said "black is black". The sheen may vary, but you can fix that. :coolio

Got the wheel pants painted, tried to clean up some over spray of black, I ain't never painting a red aircraft again. I'm going to gloss coat it a couple of times to get it prepped for some decals, I hope these things line up ok.

Moon Puppy; :mpup
I finally got out of.....never mind :idonno ...and found this little gem. So I went all the way back, read from the beginning (I'm so loyal :eek:hyeah ) and have really enjoyed seeing your progress. This despite snippin of the peanut gallery :smack - such masterful restraint on your part. :pp :gogo

But I digress (hay, its what I do) Oh well, my dog :snoopy likes me......

Seriously Though: have you thought of using the new Tamiya Curving Tape? Looks like it was made for this kind of sit-U- way-shon. Paul used it on his aggressor F-16 and it seemed to do the trick
