Thanks guys for the props!!!! I am very ADD and post on several sites so I am everywhere...all the time
Going to experiment with some finishing ideas before I try them on this baby, I am excited- I like being out of the "box" and this is a little more out of the box than usual...

This build had takes a sinister turn. DECALS FROM HELL!!!
The kit decals have been horribly brittle and the microscale decal stuff helped slightly- also DO NOT USE IT ON TECHMOD DECALS- it gives them the quality of the old Academy decals (remember those awesome things?). I was able to use a couple of things from Kevin's set- Thanks again Kev. I also acquired an old set of the Hobbydecal rub-ons- mostly a great experience. The balkenkreuzen decals I had were flimsy and I ended up painting with a mask made from those new Tamiya Kabuki sheets. I have learned much from this process. I also think my prep was insufficient in retrospect.
All that is left are the Gruppe III. JG 52 badge and the black 13 (both from the original set...)
