We do not have the old Private Messaging system like we did on the old site. Now it's called "Conversations". You can find it in several locations on the forum how to initiate a Conversation IF the user has it allowed on their profile. Under "Your Account" and "Privacy"...

I must've missed that memo when we switched over. I've gone and updated mine now too. :Drinks:
 
yeah, I never got the invite, even though I have Google Mail so I missed this. No worries, I'm not quite sure I could've logged in anyway and had a camera going and all.

Awaiting the after action report for the abbreviated meeting.

OUTSTANDING! Meets isn't quite as user friendly as Zoom was, or maybe it is. I'm may not be as well versed in the protocols of Google Meets. It's half the price. I like to think my $$ don't go directly to the Chi-Coms.
That being said, at what price, Model Fun, my friends?
 
I just hope I can log in next meeting! Man, I'm starting to get so busy lately; which is not a good thing. I was hoping to ask, who is coming to the Nationals in Vegas? My armor collection is going to be there...
 
Can't seem to send you a PM Chris. Tried several different ways and no go. Yes, my stuff is turned on so I can do it. Have had talk with several folks over PM since the site upgrade.
Also sent an e-mail to a gmail account you had on a business card I got from you at Omaha a few years ago and it was a no-go.

I'm going to be there Thursday through Saturday afternoon. Staying at the Gold Coast Casino.
 
Having survived 3 visits to Las Vegas, I have sworn never to go there again. Not for love nor $$.
 
I used to spend a lot of standby hours in Las Vegas and Reno. If it wasn't for the convention I wouldn't care to go.
 
Well. that's sad guys. I can understand your decisions, but you will be sorely missed. Chris, I was especially hoping to see you again! I wanted you to see how much my armor collection had grown since you saw it last. I am fully convinced that; unless we have a convention here in Southern California; this will be the last time I bring this collection out to display. Oh well, life goes on. I'll be looking forward to seeing anyone else that chooses to come.

Meanwhile, I'm hoping to make the next Google Meets for this group when it happens again.
