gloss acrylics

Is there any special way to apply gloss acrylics? I am not talking mirror reflective stuff or hand rubbed lacquer type but just gloss with out all the bubbles and crap.

Paul I have found that the best results applying a gloss paint like white or red etc is to first paint it with flat paint. For gloss white I could never get good coverage until I first painted with flat white. Then paint the gloss white or in some cases just coat with future. There seems to be more pigment in flat I think. Hope that helps some.
