On model photos, I always take many,many photos. Then if a photo has the detail I want but the light isn't quite right, I will play with it in my photo editing program. Most of the time it just needs a little brightening and a slight increase in contrast. Always save the modified pic as a copy ( -a, -b, -c) That way I don't mess up the original.
