Forgotten M35 Gun Truck

I a cool surprise this last week, and have to really thank Tankbuilder for it. He asked for some M55/M16 ammo drums, and I knew I had some old Tamiya ones around somewhere. Well in the digging and searching I found them in this AFV Club M35A2 kit. Well to my surprise it was a project from years ago. I remember parting out an old Tamyia M16 for the quad turret for the project but thought I had moved that to a M548 instead. Well I had not but on moving the trees aside I found that I had started to scratch build an armor truck, I even had cast wheels and tires for it. Just thought I would share what I had found, and maybe get back on it most of the hard stuff is done. :idonno

I have been playing with this project again, not sure how long that will last :woohoo: I'll share what has been done lately. I'm pretty much just using it as something to keep the mojo flowing.

Filling a lot of punch marks :frantic Also assembled the frame.

Some sub assemblies,

bed armor is all scratch out of sheet styrene

I made a mold of the spare tire and then cast a bunch

Worked the door and window crank handles so they are no longer molded on the doors

Ok that is it for this up date. Maybe in another three years it will have paint :hmmm
