Fokker DVII OAW Die sieben Schwaben

Thanks everyone. Well despite my attempts to kill this and my flak panzer this morning everything seems okay. Just lost the belly panel and popped the wing as far as I can tell. I did a bit this weekend and when going to take the pic the accident happened. Here are some pics.

Now to glue the wing again and find the panel.

very nice James.

I have only just caught up on this thread, could I ask for info on the engine please.?

Where did u get the placards and the engine number?

Did u paint the lower engine steel color with a burnt umber wash to give it that used, oily look?

Hi Ian. I painted the lower engine Tamiya Aluminum and then did the oil wash. The pistons are Nato Black which I think works better for the engine than just black. The placards and numbers and red bands are included in the kit. It is very comprehensive. I dolled up the engine with the excellent products pf Taurus Models from Poland http://www.taurusmodels.pl/ . They really notch it up and I bet under your skillful hands would be incredible. The valve lifters and rockers where done with Vallejo Oily Steel. Hope that helps some.
